I checked on 16299.309 (10 Pro) and don't have it their either so no obvious difference in the next upgrade. Perhaps someone with Enterprise can check as I only get updates through WU.

I don't know how WSUS works - I imagined updates were pushed rather than demanded but I could be utterly wrong.
I have the latest Insider build 17133.1 of Windows 10 Enterprise on a VM, and I don't have that link either.

    Hi Bobby,
Have you find the command to run check for Windows Updates online?

    There's other methods too.

Have a look at this Windows Update Commands USOClient, Powershell, WUAUCLT article for more information but note that WUAUCLT has been deprecated for Windows 10 (but works for Windows 7... I haven't tried it in Windows 8.x).

The USOClient method is simple to use. For example, usoclient startscan can be used in an elevated CMD console, BAT file or script to initiate the check for updates or use usoclient StartInteractiveScan to see what's available.

The PowerShell module method is more powerful and far more granular. For example, you can add the Microsoft Update package which checks for updates to other MS products like MS Office. It can also be used to update remote Windows 10 devices on your LAN. See this How To Run Windows Update From Command Line article for additional info and example usage.

    Hope this helps...

    Do this first
Turn On or Off Receive Updates for Other Microsoft Products - TenForumsTutorials
and then your check for Windows updates will always include other MS products.

I want to know if there is a command to run "Check online for updates from Microsoft Update"

I have a Shortcut in my Customised Toolbar to a BAT file with the Command . . .

    Code:

    PowerShell (New-Object -com "Microsoft.Update.Session").CreateUpdateSearcher().Search('"IsInstalled=0 and IsHidden=0"').Updates ^| Format-Table -Property Title

There are obviously other options available.

    I hope this helps.

Then read the whole of the tutorial thread and
    - consider whether or not you have any other MS products [Office 2013 is the only relevant one that springs to mind]
    - address any remaining questions by posting in that tutorial thread.
