Sorry to hear that! No, not because of just one patch. MS does other things with patches besides security- you can see the description of it in the link I posted.
https sites use encrypted communication - for most sites dealing with money.
I am also having a similar issue with this patch. I noticed in your opening screen shot showing View installed update history this line: 2018-03 Cumulative Update for Windows 10 Version 1709 for x64-based Systems (KB4088776)(6) <--- this (6) appears to be how many times Windows has tried to install this. From what I have seen on my computer it appears something is stuck in the update folder that should not be there. It repeatedly says it needs to restart to install some patch but never does the patching or never clears out the staged location of the updates. Oh and on my computer I have (10) retries. There should be an explanation for what has happened and how to fix this. May the Force be with us to get this resolved. The race is on!
What Build are you on now ? There is a newer update available - KB4089848 that would bring you up to the most current Build of Fall Creators - 16299.334 None has been issued since so it can be assumed that it's stable or final one before Spring Creators which may be available later today.
If you are not having any other everyday issues, I would either download the entire package from the MS Update Catalog here and install it manually - http://www.catalog.update.microsoft....px?q=KB4089848
or wait for the Spring Creators ISO to be issued on this page and use the MCT tool to Upgrade the whole OS - https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/soft.../windows10ISO/
March 22, 2018—KB4089848 (OS Build 16299.334)
Edit: a new cumulative update just issued. Direct links in Post 1 of this thread, just choose bitness - Cumulative Update KB4093112 Windows 10 v1709 Build 16299.371 - Apr. 10

Have you tried to download the Windows Media Creation Tool and do an in place "Upgrade This PC". Reason I ask this is because it usually will replace any missing or corrupt files and bring the system back out of a lot of issues. I use this tool almost on a daily basis with issues like you're having. If not you might want to go here to this link and click on "Download Tool Now" Download Windows 10
"Thanks, that tool could wipe my HD? I am asking because I don't want to install again all my apps"
'JeffF73' had success with this, so it's worth trying, at this point. No, you will not have to reinstall apps and it will keep files (never hurts to backup before you try, though). Just follow this tutorial -
Repair Install Windows 10 with an In-place Upgrade, using Step 6. To do a repair install of Windows 10 with Media Creation Tool
Hints: If you still have the update package you fetched from here yesterday (assumes 64bit) - http://download.windowsupdate.com/c/...a2746c6a2a.msu
then, in Step 8, check 'Not right now' to speed up the repair. You can then apply the KB4093112 package (you're too used to doing this, by now)
If not, the recommended setting will add time, depending on your internet speed. In Step 12, the default is to keep your files and apps (see screenshot). Just continue to finish. Step 17 should be postponed until you're sure system is normal. Good Luck
