    Stop Upgrades


    Is there a way to stop win 10 from upgrading? Mine seems to be screwed up it upgrades everyday.

    Yes, you can completely disable Windows updates.

    What you are seeing given the failed update you are experiencing every day could well be an attempt to upgrade to build 1709 from 1703 which fails each time, meaning something needs to be fixed. There are several similar similar threads on the forum, some of them lengthy.

    But disabling updates means... no more updates. As such is nothing but a temporary measure, and you will need what could be extensive help getting your PC to upgrade.

    Failure to upgrade can be due to something as simple as having certain peripherals plugged in, or 3rd party security programs. There are many other possible causes for which log analysis may help, but this is not necessarily straightforward.

    I uninstall 360 and malwares and it seemed to fix my proplems so I will wait and see what happens next.
