Excuse me Matthew the link in post #227 doesn't appear to work for me. I even logged into my OneDrive account to see if that would give me access to the Zip file but it did not. Any idea why I cannot access it please ?

    Thanks Pedro

EDIT - Oh I see that there is a later version on the zip file in post 230

I use Windows Update Manager. You can set it to run in the background and have it check for updates once a day, a week, or a month. What I can't understand is, if it checks only once a day, week, or month, why do I have to keep it running all day long? Why don't I just run it every time I want to check for updates? I thought maybe some of you know the logic I am missing here? Or, it's just that plain: simply-run-all-day-long-and-check-for-updates-once?

By the way, I already passed the question to the developer sometime ago, and got no reply.

Will it notify you when an update is available?

I don't remember anymore. Now, I just run it when I want to check for updates.

Next time, after you have manually checked for updates, if it finds an available update, please don't do anything and just wait and see whether it will notify you of the update.

Have you run the CMD files in the zipped file on your Windows 10 Pro?

I let it run in the background again. It notifies me about new updates through the Activity Center. What do you have in mind?

How does Activity Center notify you? A pop-up?

Yes, the usual. The blank icon at the corner also turns white.

Are you using Home or Pro?
Does the pop-up disappear automatically after a few seconds? If so, the user may take no notice of it.

I am using Home. What's your point?
