It surprised me, especially Enterprise. I'm going to have to start making notes and writing this stuff down, but I'm pretty sure I've done a clean install since then with a skip key and Enterprise activated with a DL. I do know for a fact that I installed Enterprise on several of my PC's, with the same MAK key and they all got a DL. I do believe I made some posts on the subject in superflies activation troubleshooting thread.
Once you activate and get a Digital License, you also get a generic key. Go to Settings > Update & security > Activation and see what it says.
In the past, if you manually entered a Windows 10 key, it would have said "activated with a product code" and your key in use would be the one you entered.
Now it will say "activated with a Digital License" and the key in use will be the generic one. Even if you manually entered it during the install.
