Windows 10 update KB4056892 will not install

Hi there, I'd be grateful for any help anyone may have with this issue.

For the past 3 weeks or so, my computer has attempted to update itself to the KB4056829 update and failed every single time. My computer restarts daily in an attempt to download this update during my non-active hours, but each and every time it tries to update, I get error messages in my notifications tab saying 'windows was unable to install all updates' which is quite aggravating.

This is what I see right now in the updates section:

Again, I'd appreciate any help anyone can offer.
    Thanks~

    Hey broy,
Try the following to see if you can get it to install ...

Edit: If you're using a 3rd party AV, then check the link in #3 below about compatibility issues.

1st ... Run the windows update trouble shooter and see if it will install.
2nd ... In File Explorer go to C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution\Download and delete everything in the Download Folder (Not the Download Folder itself) and then manually check for updates and see if it will install.
3rd ... Download the update from the MS Catalog and manually install it. You can find links to it here - Cumulative Update KB4056892 Windows 10 v1709 Build 16299.192 - Windows 10 Forums

    Hi Eagle51,
    thank you for the suggestions/fixes.

I tried everything from step one to three and nothing seems to be working, I'm back where I started with my computer requesting to be restart even though after about 6 times (in the past hour, mind you) of restarting tonight.

    Here's what it says:
