For foreign languages you can copy and paste and get an immediate translation.
For the Panther logs they are in code and there is no method to immediately translate into English.
If you are able to perform some decoding and get an English statement the statement is often ambiguous.
Sometimes the Panther logs are useful in that some easy things are found and that fixes the failure to upgrade.
Most of the time it is a very tedious process.

Currently the goal is to assess the hardware / software environment and see what can be done to get you a stable environment.

As per post #10, I don't have Ccleaner on my computer - it appears instructions 1-4 refer to results of Ccleaner.

I downloaded and ran "Whocrashed" - the results were as follows:

"Crash dumps are enabled on your computer.

    Crash dump directories:
    C:\WINDOWS
    C:\WINDOWS\Minidump

No valid crash dumps have been found on your computer"

I haven't figured out how to post images (such as an image of my device manager list showing installed devices) to the thread with One Drive. Nonetheless, it shows only the PS/2 mouse and PS/2 keyboard as not present or not working. I don't have either of these devices (both are actually USB devices, present & working properly). I assume I should uninstall the two PS/2 devices? If, by "image", you mean an actual picture, I can try to do that:

Images can be uploaded into the thread or share links can be posted.
For share links the file is moved into the cloud.
It can be text, image, video, etc.
Once the file is moved into the cloud there is a right click option for share which creates a share link.
The share link is then posted into the thread. There is no waiting for upload as it was already uploaded once.

Here's a screenshot of the Disc Management results. The bottom two drives are Passport hard drives for data storage, and the "L" drive is for my system backups. There's one more, off the bottom of the screen, which is shown in the second image (couldn't compress the page enough to get all on screen at once)

I'm working on that - it's a new, SSD, and it's small (247Gb). I'm moving everything possible to my Passport drives at the moment...

Okay, I have 47Gb free now on C:/

Here's the results of the final HD error scan

I'll try doing the "clean boot" tomorrow (I've been up for 19 hours, & need some sleep!). It scares me, though - there are a LOT of steps to it, so I've printed off the instructions from the Windows support page & your directions in step 12.

Clean boot is relatively easy. It's similar to having a room with 50 electronic devices with a wall switch. Each time you boot the computer the switch is activating all 50 electronic devices. When you change to clean boot it may switch on 20 of the devices. The other 30 you need to walk over to the electrical appliance to turn it on. Like clean boot the individual item is off until you turn it on.

Please post the images of startup and recovery settings and virtual memory settings.
The settings may need to be modified. After the modification open whocrashed.
Then perform a whocrashed crash dump test.
    Then analyze.
If it analyzes the dump post a zip into the thead.

The HD Tune error scan for 1 drive looks good. When available you can post the 3 scan results for each drive.
Some Samsung drives may need to be tested with Samsung magician.
