    Not receiving January 2018 updates.

I didn't get any January updates. I have intel and don't use a 3rd party av. I see that registry entry has been added. But how come I have received no updates at all for january? I feel something is wrong.

I did receive an update for my bios, and did receive adobe flash update. But no MS updates at all.

Thanks in advance for any advice.

    Rich.

Hi, please post a screenshot of your Update History.

If you wish to attempt a particular update manually, each update has a thread in the News section, including a manual download link.

It's quite common for some to have updates delayed, or not delivered- especially the one relating to Meltdown and Spectre vulnerabilities. Please see

Your History shows you didn't received the 2017-12 Cumulative Update either, and several failed attempts for the Flash security updates that you did receive.

Windows Update doesn't appear to be working well. Try running the Windows Update Troubleshooter.

Ty for your reply. I have tried to run troubleshooter and it didn't find anything wrong.

I even connected to ms live chat and let them remote to my pc and they said everything was fine and to just wait for the updates lol.

But I know something must be wrong. I'm not understanding what the problem is.

Everything is NOT fine, you've missed two months of cumulative updates so far. You could try resetting Windows Update. Note that doing so will clear you update history (but not remove the updates, you'll still see them listed if you click 'Uninstall updates').

Yes, it's a called amd64 because AMD designed the first x64 processor, then Intel used AMD's designs.
