clean install *HOW TO ACTIVATE

    Ok. I have installed windows 7 again. I am struggling to know what to do now because the windows 10 icon has now gone and I have a LOAD of updates to do.... I have the usb version of Windows 10..what do I do now... I can't activate something that isn't on the toolbar.. :/

    Thank you for your help so far.. All I wanted was a quick upgrade and now my pc is in bits..

    After making sure Windows 7 SP1 is activated - upgrade to Win10 with the iso - make sure you have the correct version obviously.

    I have just checked my usb and I have got rid of the files... This is a disaster. What options are available to me?

    Adam,

    After you have Windows 7 activated, you can use step 3 below to upgrade to Windows 10. :)

    Ok. I have reinstalled windows 7 and updated to sp1. I dont have the windows 10 icon so I have downloaded the USB installer. It is saying that my copy of windows is not activated? I put in my product key and this is a genuine copy... Please help

    Thank you Superfly. I have activated windows 7 and am now in the middle of installing windows 10. Wish me luck I will let you know how I get on
