A CRITICAL Situation and Need Answer Quickly

I have a critical situation within my immediate family and cannot, at this time or probably much later, perform all the things I still need to do to prep my notebook for Windows 10 installation. I need the following questions answered relating to Windows 10 installation.

I received 2 updates the other day; KB3055343 (re stop error codes) and "Update to Windows 10", which I believe has to do with installing "Windows Insider Preview".

My questions are, 1. will these 2 updates remain in my control panel indefinitely, 2. do I really need to download the Windows Insider Preview, 3. will windows automatically install these at some point in time if I don't install myself?

I can't have windows install automatically because my computer is not ready yet, with several problems to fix.

I just can't do anything for a long time. My oldest bother is in "critical condition" in the hospital and he on my mind constantly. A quick response to my questions would be very much appreciated.

    Thank you.

Yes or they will be at Windows Update. Go tend to your Brother. Sorry to hear about that.

Thank you, Gary, for your quick reply. As I understand it, I'm okay....Microsoft won't automatically download. Thank you very much for your statement concerning my brother.

One more question, I have a whole year from 7/29/15 to install Windows 10 (was reserved) on my pc without a fee, correct?
