Brink, it was showing size 111GB and free 111 GB.
Brink, it was showing size 111GB and free 111 GB.
Other than the size difference, did it look like this below for Disk 0 as "unallocated space" when selecting in Windows Setup?
No it did not. It listed my various drives and for drive 0, the C drive, it said size 111GB and free 111 GB. (To be honest I do not recall whether it also said unallocated space. It is now 3.20am here in Malta and I have been struggling to install Build 17063 for hours now. The problem is that after each failure I have to boot from my Macrium Reflect rescue disk, which takes some time to open up, and then restore my latest backup of drive C).
The main thing is that for Disk 0, was there only one listing for it as "unallocated space" like above?
Brink, I think your last reply may have crossed with my last reply. Drive C was only listed once.
Just to confirm. Did it show as "Dive C", or as "Disk 0 Unallocated Space"?
If it didn't show like in the screenshot I posted, then something went wrong when you were deleting all partitions for "Disk 0".
Brink, it referred to disk 0. I'm sorry but I'm so tired I cant remember if it looked like your screenshot. Can we carry on with this thread later today please?
Brink, I booted from my USB drive and when the setup window appeared I pressed shift + F10. The command prompt window opened and all the commands completed successfully, this time including the command convert gpt. However, once again when I chose to install Windows 10 on disk 0 I was told a partition could not be created on disk 0, which was shown as Unallocated Space, Total Size 111.8GB, Free Space 111.8GB.
Would you be prepared to take control of my PC, using TeamViewer, and if so I will tell you my TeamViewer User ID and Password.
