Brink, the update to Build 17063 is awaiting restart. Should I wait for your reply to post #9?

Brink, I didn't see your post #10 until after I had sent post #11. I will now set UAC back to its default setting.

Brink, the UUP file still won't open.

Do you get any error messages when you right click on the .exe and click on "Run as administrator"?

Brink, I did that but it made no difference.

In that case, you could try doing a repair install, and see if it may be able to update afterwards.

Brink, I downloaded the Media Creation tool but it wouldn't run. This happens periodically with any of my installation files, but they run again when I restart. If I restart then Windows will start to install (or configure) the update to Build 17063. What should I do?

You can go ahead and restart, and then try the repair install if it wasn't successful updating to 17063.

Brink, I downloaded the Media Creation Tool and downloaded the iso file for Build 16299. I burned that to a dvd using Imgburn and then ran setup exe. Insider Preview Build 17063 is awaiting restart. I clicked restart now, but I am just seeing the spinning dots, and my PC has not restarted. What can I do about it?
