How to give Administrator full permisions on all files

I have a personal WD 3TB Cloud that I want to store multiple files at one time!

I get this error "You'll need tp provide Administrator Permission to copy this file folder"

I have tried several methods to get Administrator permission for all files but none of will work!

Create a subdirectory e.g. myfiles, and see if you can copy files to that ok - I am guessing there is a permissions issue.

    Permissions

    Thanx:

What I need on my network, I am the only one on the network, is for me, as the Administrator to have full control of all files on the network!

I can do this, but after a restart, it reverts back to the old permissions set-up.

Potentially you can brick the system some folders and files must be owned by system giving admin full rights breaks security and would spread malware as suggested use one folder
