    Microsoft Edge launches multiple instances


    I'm currently using Windows 10 Home, version 1709 and OS Build 16299.15.

    I'm in the fast ring of windows, and have been enjoying the new features so far. I have only encountered one issue regarding Microsoft edge. I'm sorry if this has been brought up before, but I'm kinda new to this and still searching for a solution.

    When I launch edge, nothing is wrong. But as soon as I try to alt tab, several instances of edge can be seen, which makes it quite annoying to alt tab between programs. I'll include a screenshot to show you what I mean.

    Is this a known issue? Or is there a fix for this?

    Hi and welcome.
    I do not experience what you are seeing. Edge in my system acts normally with Alt TAB. No extra Edge windows appear.
    Have you tried a system scan, SFC/Scannow?
