Insider Preview users and Upgrade today. we getting it?

woke up excited for the upgrade, found the Windows ~BT folder on my win 81. PC, but not my tes pc running the Insider preview RTM,

is it going to be staggered to us as well as normal people that reserved, or will we be able to activate then opt out of the insider program and remain activated?

According to recent info, the RTM version we already have is basically the same as the Released version, so there's nothing for us to do at present. That also means that there is not immediately going to be a new version made available for us. The RTM version we have currently does not have an expiration date, and it's already activated.

Eventually, there will be a new build, possibly as early as next week -- since there are already rumours of Service Pack 1 coming out early August.

I just upgraded to Win 10 RTM. If I want to hop on the insider preview train all I have to do is check it off in settings and it will download the next Insider build for me?

As far as I know you can still join and continue to get new builds but you will get a warning that you may have to re install your OS. I dropped out of the program so I can work on getting Windows 10 the way I want it to be. In the program you have to provide feedback and keep all of the default settings for privacy and such. I am using Avast Internet Security so Defender and the Windows firewall is turned off.
