Hi there. What fails? The upgrade or the UUPtoISO?

0xc1900101 "usually indicates that an incompatible driver is present". Resolve Windows 10 upgrade errors - Windows IT Pro | Microsoft Docs

0x80240034 is the code for "Update failed to download". Appendix G: Windows Update Agent Result Codes

The upgrade, three times it failed last night so I gave up.

How should I progress? WU has installed all the drivers so I'm at a loss. I have Steam installed and 1 game and the UUP to ISO program and cdrtfe (CD burning).

    Uninstall updates? Delete Software Distribution?

Edit: So I ran Powershell to convert the WU Log to txt and was gonna stick it on Pastebin but I hit the limit so I put it on Dropbox

    Dropbox - wuetl.txt

Only thing that repeatedly appears is a printer driver 'Enhanced Point and Print' by Microsoft and my motherboard (runs a beta UEFI BIOS)?

Will keep digging but I'm not sure what I'm looking at or for.

I didn't post all the log files, it had split into two, this is the beginning (can't seem to edit my post again)

    Dropbox - long_wuetl.txt

System image once again does what it always did before build 16226.
    Hope this helps someone.

Only issue, is I can't get 16288, still stuck on 16251.

You may want to try this: Reset Windows Update in Windows 10 Windows 10 Windows Update Activation Tutorials

If it fails again, you may want to clean install 16251, then try the upgrade again.

I will, only issue is I had to mount the image and copy to USB because it was 4501MB (100.4% of a DVD!)

I've redownloaded the ISO and burning it with cdrtfe to use the overburn feature.

Edit: yep, it failed with 20MB to go. Ever had one of those days?

Could not get 16251 to recognise the USB as the install media for a recovery or a reset. So I thought I'd remove the 'issue' of it being installed from a 'flat' location.

I reflashed my motherboard back to F8 official UEFI and it still failed the upgrade so that isn't an issue. I uninstalled (and temporarily removed from the Network) the printing device (Samsung M2070W) in case that was what the Enhanced Point and Print driver issue was.

I couldn't see any of the error codes I posted in the 'wuetl dumps' I created, so I was at a loss.

Yes I have. Hang in there!

I use Rufus for burning without any problems. Rufus - Create bootable USB drives the easy way

I see admin moved this thread as I asked for.

To add: It's a great little utility. If you use it make sure you choose the correct categories within it. Also before using, I usually format the thumb to default settings using the Windows format.

That did not work either. It is going through the motions gets to the reboot stage then recovers.
