PC will not go to sleep using Build 16257.rs3_release.170728-1700

Is anyone else having this issue? My PC stays on no matter the settings I apply for the monitor to turn off in a set amount of time nor will the computer go to sleep (it completely ignores my sleep/hibernate settings). The wallpaper will kick in, but that is all.

Thank you, Josey. I am glad to know I am not alone. I wanted to verify it only affected me before I submitted anything, but it looks like this is legit. What a pain, I need this baby to go to sleep when not in use and save some money.

And thank you for the welcome party. It is good to meet a fellow outlaw.

    Cheers,

Similar problem. My system will sleep if there is no browser open, browser open will not sleep. Tested with Firefox and Edge. This problem has existed for the last ~couple of builds.

My theme ( two 24" monitors) which use to display and mixture of standard and panoramic pictures will no longer display the panoramic pictures as panoramic(across both monitors), they just appear as a standard pic on one monitor. Not sure when this changed but it did work before.

Well if this is in fact legit, I will be on The CU for quite some time.

    I also have sleep\hibernate issue.

Using the mce standby tool I can see that it registers user input, when there are non, so the countdown to sleep starts again.

I also use programs that put the pc to sleep if no user input, like smartpower, amp winoff or airytec. But since the pc trigger user inputs it never goes to sleep.

I force mine to sleep, now it's started locking up instead of coming out of sleep mode.

That is what mine did so I went back to The AU. If there is a build today I will try it to see if it will sleep.
