    Insider Release Preview.

Just wondering if there has been a release preview for the fall creators update.

    Hello Henry, :)

The current fast insider builds are having Fall Creators Update features slowly included in them for testing.

Yes, I tried the fast ring and the slow, but to many bugs. I also noticed when you change to fast or slow, you cannot go back to release preview.. I am back to stable again, but I have not seen any updates for release preview yet.

If this is your main computer you use on a daily basis, then I would suggest sticking to CU. If you want to dabble with insider, use a virtual environment such as Virtual Box or VMware.

I wish I could use the FCU, but unfortunately I have to use my laptop at work and can't risk any bugs/downtime.

No not really This is a new rig. Still have the old one, but sometimes I test with both, because of different hardware. Either way one always has CU stable in case of mishaps. Also I have CU install media on one flash drive, and Fedora or Ubuntu on another. But quite frankly I do not care to much for Fall Creators update. Microsoft is new at the six month cadence, as opposed to say Fedora or Ubuntu who have been doing it for some time. Plus more added features brings more bugs and less stability. I look at Windows 7 and say that was a very good operating system and stable. Personally I though the Anniversary Update to be the best so far. Anyway I will wait for rs3 preview release and try again.

I don't know Josey Wales, you got those two shootin irons in your hands so I recon you must be right. Getting on my horse slowly and backing away. Next time I try fast or slow ring I will post a screenshot, unless of course I am wrong.

I even dropped out of the program for 6 weeks and all I had to do was turn it back on.
