I even dropped out of the program for 6 weeks and all I had to do was turn it back on.

I did a similar thing. But I recently created a new MS Account and I cannot register for the insider program. Every time I try it says "sorry something went wrong" I already marked old account for removal in 60 days or so. Also went to apps and did a reset of Feedback Hub.

Yes, I tried the fast ring and the slow, but to many bugs. I also noticed when you change to fast or slow, you cannot go back to release preview.. I am back to stable again, but I have not seen any updates for release preview yet.

You can only use Release Preview if you remain on Release version 1703. AFAIK no release preview updates have been issued. This Ring is (imo) pretty useless.

Josey Wales, take a look at the following images. #1 is release preview, #2 is slow ring.
