    How to fix error 0x80244007.

Running Windows 10 Creators Update, switched to insider preview release preview. Is there a fix for this error message.

Well Henry, try running the Microsoft recommended Windows Update Troubleshooter, this tool scans and fix the Windows update related issues and errors. So you can try running the tool, but if in case, after running the troubleshooter you are still facing the error then in this case reset the Software Distribution folder:

    • Open Command Prompt with admin and type the given commands and hit Enter.
    • net stop wuauserv
    • net stop bits
    • Doing this, stop the Windows Update and Background Intelligent Transfer Service.
    • Next, In the File Explorer go to the Software Distribution folder and then delete the folders inside.
    • You can select all and press the delete button.

Hope doing this will help you to fix the error 0x80244007, but if not then please let me know.
