Is there a way of knowing how many insider builds I've installed leading up to 14986 and when they were installed? Maybe there's a program I've installed between builds that needs to be uninstalled. I know I don't have AVG.

    Intel Iris Graphics 5100

Rather than do a clean install and lose everything, I restored an image of my PC from a year ago, from before I installed the Insider's build. In this state, Windows update halts with the error "Couldn't install windows 10 - this device isn't compatible Intel Iris Graphics 5100." So I uninstall and delete the Intel driver in order for the update to proceed. This is familiar and I'm repeating things I did a year ago.

But perhaps these same Intel 5100 drivers were causing the 0xC1900101 - 0x30018 errors during my Insider build 15063 install? I'm not sure whether it's worth restoring the Insider image to try and find out.
