Cant upgrade to windows 10 using insider app

    Cant upgrade to windows 10 using insider app


    i have genuine windows 7 pro sp1 installed on my i5 laptop and i wanted to install latest windows 10 build in my laptop so i downloaded this
    http://web.esd.microsoft.com/W10PE/3F637B911B08AB8CD35732F8ED4C4ADE7E43EC75/Windows10InsiderPreview.exe
    and run windows 10 insider preview app. it said getting ready to update for few minutes and then it opened windows updates and windows updates after checking for updates said that no updates are available.. i have restarted windows but problem is same. any ideas? what to do

    yea i have already read that tutorial but this is for installing using iso file but i want to upgrade using windows update using insider preview app but there in windows update it says no update available , this is is the problem i am facing

    I highly doubt anyone here has used that.. or even heard of it to start with. So.. you may not get the help you want on this issue.

    it should be working because this tool is provided by microsoft... anyways take a look here as well

    That utility is for one of the earliest TP Builds, (9926), which probably isn't supported any longer.

    n70shan, I'd recommend following the route that many here have tried, and found to work. That is to follow the tutorial. Good luck if you choose to stick with the route you've already tried.

    I think you're correct.. if I recall correctly that was for a very early build and I doubt it will work anymore.

    yes mr edwin i have downloaded this insider app for pc using the website you listed but its not working anyways Mr keseyken i think i have to use iso file so i am going to download it .. thank you all for your help. takecare
