From turning the PC on it takes 6 seconds, after BIOS POST, to get to the lock screen. And 2 seconds to finish after login. That's connecting to the router via wifi too.
Here's a vid of the fastest boot on the crappest system.

My W10 VMs take ~55 seconds, which is about the same time that my "real" W7 takes.
My W7 VMs take ~90 seconds.

Wow! 26 seconds! That's from pressing the power button until I see my desktop.

Then it takes Outlook way too long to start up.
On boot time, you need to include the time it takes all startup programs to load. My system might take 10 seconds to get from bios to the desktop, but on average it takes another 25 seconds to load startup programs (much of this time is due to Razer Synapse loading). You're not fully booted until everything at startup is loaded, granted you could disable all startup programs, but then you'd have to spend the next minute or two manually loading what you need to run.

I start Outlook after bootup occurs. It's not in my Startup Programs, nor do I want it there because at times I want to start Skype, which takes only a fraction of the time Outlook takes to start.

If you don't need background programs from the get go you're golden; but, I need Razer Synapse to load on boot otherwise my mouse is way too sensitive (down from 3500 to 1000 dpi). Razer Synapse probably take 20 of the 25 seconds to boot (after reaching desktop).

Your system seems a lot better than mines so I'm not certain why the load time is so long.

From boot to desktop I've had load times no higher than 30 seconds, averaging around 15-25 seconds.
It then takes another 10-30 seconds for all the startup items to load completely.
MBAM and Windows Defender being the only two programs I have set to load immediately upon Windows starting up.

I say 10-30, as there are certain occasions where certain startup programs set to "Automatic" never load/startup or startup only after several reboots.

I'm not fully certain what the reason may be however, but when those programs that should startup don't load the full boot time is quite fast.

This is an old HDD laptop I use mostly for my engineering work, light gaming, music listening, etc.

    System specs:
    Pentium(R) Dual-Core CPU T4200 @ 2.00GHz

    BIOS Version/Date INSYDE 1.50, 12/16/2009
    Insyde H20 BIOS V.1706
    BIOS Mode Legacy

GPU 1: Mobile Intel(R) 4 Series Express Chipset Family (Microsoft Corporation WDDM 1.1)
    GPU: GMA 4500MDH

    Physical Memory: 6011 MB
    Minimum Graphics Memory: 128 MB
    Maximum Graphics Memory: 1759 MB
Graphics Memory in Use: 60 MB
    Processor: Intel64 Family 6 Model 23 Stepping 10
    Processor Speed: 1995 MHz
I'm using this as my main working laptop at this point (desktop running Win 7) so I currently have about 200~ programs installed. I haven't clean installed since 10041, since I couldn't update from 9879 while still being in the update period for that build. Currently running 10166.

Why do we receive the password box at the logon screen for a few seconds (like in video on page 2), when it is a local account and no password set?

Why is there a Windows Defender item in startup? That's strange, I don't have that here.

Is it possible something like PureSync is taking a long time to start up? Is your system joined to a domain?
