Problems after updating to build 10166

    Thanks for the correction. I was only checking because that's the error I get whenever I try to save anything - that the destination is read-only - even when I am saving a new document. I assumed (perhaps mistakenly) that the problem was with directory permissions rather than with file permissions. It does not seem restricted to Word docs; game files similarly refuse to save to My Games. I can send them to the desktop, however, and then use Windows Explorer to manually cut and paste files to their rightful locations (using the admin override each time) but I cannot rid my system of the obstacle.
