    Hi thorrrr
There is a troubling shooting tool for Search and Indexing.
Right click Start, click on Control Panel, click on System and Security (in green top of page), then under Security and Maintenance at top of page click, "Troubleshoot Common computer problems". Window opens, on left click "View All". When you click on Troubleshooter you want window opens. Click on Advance towards the left, then run as Administrator. I find if it finds problems and doesn't solve rerun one more time.

I'm going to suggest an in place repair / upgrade.

Please have a read of this article.

It has worked for a large array of issues. I would have your data safely backed up off device. You should not need to use it, better safe than sorry.

Since this is an Insider build you are having trouble with, you would need an ISO of 15063 to do an in-place repair, as suggested. With the issues you posted, it sounds like you got a really messed up upgrade to the latest build. The ISO for 15063 is not available yet, may be next week sometime. It has not been announced officially when.

If you have an image backup of your test Insider system, I would restore it and do the upgrade again. In lieu of that, get the latest available MS official Insider ISO 15058 available and do a clean install, then change your Ring to Fast, and do an upgrade to 15063. It has been released to the Slow Ring, so changing to Fast is not really necessary, but you may if you wish.

Backup your personal data first so you can copy it back after.
