What you ask about appears to me to be 2 different versions. The Version 1607 Build is the RTM/Released to Market version and the Version 1607 Build 15014.1000 is the IP/Insider Preview or test version. I haven't encountered the problem as my IP computers are not my RTM computers, the 2 IPs never had the RTM version on them, have been test machines from the beginning.

You may have to get the RTM .iso download and do a clean/reformat install to get all of the IP data off and you would lose your programs [can be reinstalled] and also your files unless copied onto another drive. Check the Tutorials section about the downloading.

Sorry, you can't downgrade to previous build numbers - unless you do the built-in revert function with 10 days of when you upgraded to the new build number, and that has always been pretty unreliable. You will have to clean install the previous (RTM) build. This is why Microsoft warns about not using insider preview builds on "production" computers - meaning your everyday use computer. It's best to run insider preview in it's own separate partition created by cloning your RTM partition which you keep for the purpose of easily going back.

CB???? I'm afraid you are fighting a losing battle. Build 14393.726 is not the RTM version [which is now at 14393.693], it's the Release Preview version. It's been known if not explicitly said that using the Technical Preview, now known as the Insider Preview, couldn't be downgraded without doing a clean install of a previous Operating System. That's why my testing machines are always separate from my production machines.
