It's broken - I get the same thing. It says you need to do something to continue receiving builds - click this Fix Me button. And when you do, it tells you how to STOP receiving builds. And there's no way out of the circle. Did you install the Insider Hub App? I think that has something to do with it, though I don't see how it could...
This seems to be Microsoft's way of catching up with Google.

Microsoft is forcing us to use a Microsoft Account rather than a Local Account and to sign in every time so it can use our personal data to its own advantage and for its own profit just like Google has been doing for many years.

If you go to Settings/Update and security/Windows Update/Advanced Options, is there a 'Fix me' box under Get Insider Builds?
    That button's a ****ing lie >_<

I can see why the honorable member is using foul language. This is indeed infuriating. The Fix Me button is Microsoft's devious way of getting us to use a Microsoft Account rather than a Local Account and to sign in every time.

I am on a verified MS account!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Even tried another and still that infernal "Fix Me".

Well I clicked the link that "Fix Me" gave me and luckily got a MS Survey window for my tech support experience.

Gave them a nice rant that'll make the Pandabear elders proud.

Ranting may make you feel better but it does not solve the problem of how to stop getting those annoying notifications.

You can't just use a MSA to receive insider builds. You must use the MSA you registered with the program with, and verified your account ON THAT MACHINE (not just verified once before).

    Such tinfoil...

Only insiders are required to use an MSA, and only then you need it to continue to automatically receive builds. The only way they can keep insiders apart from non-insiders (to send them the new builds) is by using your MSA to sign in with.

Talk about denial... Non-insiders cannot get the preview (see https://insider.windows.com/). Insiders want new builds but do not want to pay for them with their privacy. Being a Power User and a VIP Member does not make one a Microsoft spokesman.
