Windows 10 IP 15007 thread. (hey, over here!)

so far these updates are working and installing without any hiccups.

    pc:

    MSI Godlike X99
    5960X OC 4.6Ghz + 3.6Ghz Ring
    8 sticks of 2666Mhz
    Kingston M.2 SSD
Adaptec 71605E with 16 drives attached
    MSI GTX 980 Ti
3xSSD in RAID0 using intel sata ports
few more drives on the remaining sata ports
    3 screens: 1 40" 4k, 1 55" KS8000, 1 s32d850t

so plenty of things to be trialled during updating.

On first desktop login the action centre didn't respond until a few minutes later.
    The audio also stopped working with some message about audio system not available, then it returned a few seconds later probably this;

After updating to this build, nonstop exceptions in the Spectrum.exe service may occur causing PCs to lose audio, disk I/O usage to become very high, and apps like Microsoft Edge to become unresponsive when doing certain actions. As a workaround to get out of this state, you can delete C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Spectrum\PersistedSpatialAnchors and reboot.

Had a "low on memory error box"
Seems it was to do with the virtual memory setting, default settings not good enough so entered manual values now.
see if it pops up again.

    Sorted out some problems.

Virtual memory is system managed, tick the button that says "system managed size".
    Reinstalled nvidia driver 376.60
Installed my Titanium HD and all working (even dts live and dts in movies works)

So going good, but a bug will pop up out of nowhere, guaranteed (VMWare looks to be buggy with 15007 and multitasking).
Still searching for a working AV. MBAM might work, still to test.
Just about every 3rd party AV does not support/work on insider previews entirely (lucky if it does) as in the option may be enabled, but not functional leaving open a vulnerability.

If your having problems, first do a hardware check.

Turn off, unplug psu power cable, check loose power cables, cards, ram sticks, excessive heat buildup on parts, things like that.

Then RESET CMOS or clear cmos, whatever procedure so your hardware detection is refreshed.
You will have to go into eufi and set everything up again.
    Start the new install immediately.

VMWare SVGA driver with a windows 10 VM will crash the display driver, found that so far.
