    I do Both. Actully 3. I have Windows 7, Windows 10 RTM and an Insiders version set to Fast ring.

    The main one I can see would be that the upgrade consumes the licence of the OS you upgrade over, meaning you can't legally run both OSes
    or transfer the OS to another machine, whereas the retail version wouldn't be tied to one machine or need an existing licence as it would have its own.

    I'll stay an Insider on a VM and spare telephone, Outsider on the main rig for now on and the main telephone.

    Preview software.... Oh Lordy it's fatiguing.

    Just like Steve, I do 3. RTM, Insider on Fast, And 8.1 (Just for chuckles to remind myself what I'd being misssing!). Lappy (SP3) is on RTM. Don't want to mess with that too much, wife uses it to print coupons and window shop.

    I use Win10 Pro, Win10 Home, Win7, Linux Mint and Mac OS X El Capitan. I also have a test machine running the WIn10 Insider.
