For me it depends on how long the Insider programme will continue in the longer term.

The latest blog post says that the Insider programme will continue past 29 July, but doesn't say for how long, and unless there was a commitment that it would go on for ever (or at least 5 years or so), I'd probably move to the 'Current Branch' or whatever it's called before July 2016.

I'd quite like to continue being an Insider but would always want an easy way to get to 10 proper, as I have Windows 8.1 licences for the devices I have and wouldn't want to miss out on the offer to upgrade to a permanent 10 licence.

I plan on doing both, honestly. I've got W10 on my main machine, and dozens of W7 keys from back when I had a Technet account. Assuming it's possible, I'll just upgrade my main machine to the next Insider build and burn a couple of W7 keys for RTM ISOs.

I'm planning on using the RTM as my main OS and continue to stay in the insider program either as a dual boot or on one of my laptops.

As the Insider program will continue after Windows 10 is released I thought I'd see how many of you are going to stay an insider or jump over to RTM/GA version.
I wondered the same thing - Great minds think alike, I suppose.

I shall be taking the free upgrade offer and moving to the final release. I may buy a boxed version at some point after the first year.

I am very tempted to go back to windows 7 and take the upgrade way ..... want to enjoy this thrill.

At the same time I dont want to loss the use of windows 10.

So I am in a hanging state right now, I voted for "I'm not sure yet" .

I just got back in the game and dual booting W8.1 and W10 on my SSD. I will stay this way to get all my programs transferred to W10 to be sure they work. I am sure a lot of them will get upgrades so I can use W10 insider to test everything before upgrading my other systems but plan to go all W10 sometime after RTM.
