    If I install Insider Preview, will I lose all my previous programs & data?

    No, you don't. When you join Insider program and opt in for Insider build upgrades, they are installed as in-place upgrade. All your installed software, Windows apps, personal files and settings will remain intact, only the Windows system files will be upgraded.
