No, the drivers for the Intel G31/G33 onboard graphics just work perfectly for the traditional Windows, and fail miserably with modern Windows as before.

My new ASUS Nvidia GeForce GT 710-2-SL arrived today and works with everything, noticeably snappier rendering webpages, like weather radar graphics. Unlike with the GT 9500, Windows 10 did not recognise the new card, and used the generic Microsoft Basic Adapter, until I told it to find a better driver, which it found from Windows Update.

I found that to be my problem on a Dell Inspiron 530S with the G33/G31 Express but I changed to a Dell Optiplex 755 and found the same problem with the Intel Q35 Express adapter. Both computers are now working fine with an ATI Radeon 2400 HD.

Use Win10 Geforce drivers from nVidia.
