    hey.

downloaded yesterday 14926, no problems. set the rebooting overnight aswell the installation. didnt work. started windows today and got such an announcement. great day on january, lol.

i tried to access older threads in tenforums but for some reason it said "site unavailable" for those so i thought ill give it a new shot.

(atm it seems to be downloading the 14926 again so we will see how it goes this time)

any pro tips if this will hop on again?

14926 is an insider build, I think you need a normal build first in order to be able to activate.

MS have just announced that people need to keep more upto date with Insider versions than they have been doing so as they kept getting lots of feedback from people still using older versions on issues fixed on later versions.

Basically, they are more rigorously enforcing the requirement to keep upto date which is a MANDATORY requirement of the Insider Programme. So if people do not really actively participate, they will get disabled.

Insider builds have a limited lifetime and are set to expire after a certain period.

I would strongly recommend that you consider going to the latest stable build which is 14393.187.

If you happen to have the ISO of a previous build I would install that one and then upgrade to the current insider build. Then you can check the expiration date and see if you have the same as I have, 5/1/2017.

One more thought.. check to see if this build is activated properly. That could be the root cause of the issue,

This is not related to activation. All Insider builds prior to 14926 will expire by end of Oct 15th.

    Quote from 14926 blog:

An important note about build expiration

Just as we’ve always done with pre-release versions of Windows, Insider Preview builds have expiration dates. Starting tomorrow September 15th, PCs running really old Insider Preview builds will start to see build expiration notifications once a day. Then on October 1st, these PCs will start rebooting every 3 hours and then on October 15th – these PCs will stop booting all together. If your PC is running one of these old Insider Preview builds, please make sure you update to Build 14926 via Settings > Update & security > Windows Update. Build 14926 has an updated expiration date of May 1st, 2017. If your PC is running the Windows 10 Anniversary Update (Build 14393) in the Slow and Release Preview rings today – this does not apply to you and you will not be notified of your build expiring.

If you search Sergey Tkachenko's site, WinAero.com, you'll find that he posts ISOs and image files for many of the Insider builds. By searching on build numbers, you may be able to find what you need. Just a thought...
