Fix for Build 14915 Colors Customization crashes

Haven't seen this posted anywhere yet, so I'll post it now.

In build 14915, Personalization ---> Colors displays for a second, then crashes. I've run into this on all of my Insider OS's, physical and VM. You may also have this issue.

    The event log is:

There is a workaround. In C:\Windows\System32, take ownership of Windows.UI.Xaml.dll and rename it Windows.UI.Xaml.old.dll

Copy the Windows.UI.Xaml.dll from build 14905 to C:\Windows\System32. Restart and the Colors will not crash.

This will, of course, revert back to the bad DLL if SFC /SCANNOW is run, or an in-place repair is done.

If you do not have access to the DLL from build 14905, I have included a ZIP of it here:

Attachment 99661 (From Pro 64 bit. Only one I have)

I wonder if that will fix the issue I had with build 14915 on 9/1/16, had to revert to build 14905. Build 14915 hasn't been re-offered yet.

Guess I'm OOB [Out Of Business] on this Insider Preview, after trying the information here I now can't even get the screen to display where to click the button/link to go back to the Previous Build.

@Berton, I'm not familiar with whatever issue you had with 14915. If you reverted to build 14905, you most likely will not have a button to go back to previous version....because you already are on the previous version. This post/fix is not, was not, intended to address any other issues with build 14915 or 14905. I am really not sure where you are going with this. Maybe post your issue/problem in another thread and ask for help. This is for the Color change problem, nothing else.

P.S. - You could always try restoring your backup, see if that helps.
