Windows Store has higher prices in Windows 10 Preview

I was looking in the store for an item I might be interested in buying and it was $38.99 on this machine running the normal Windows 10 Pro 64bit 1607(14393.51). I decided I would prefer getting this on my laptop that is running the Windows 10 64bit Preview version. The price for the SAME item was $43.99. Maybe they had just changed the price and I looked it up again on this machine; it was still $38.99. I guess its a special thank you price for their beta testers!

Needless to say I decided it was something I did not need on either machine.

Just a quirk of coincidence, I'm sure, but right now $43.99 (US) = 39.02 EUROS.... real close, marketing/sales types love that xx.99 type pricing. You're in Canada, so not sure if your prices are in C$ or not.

What's shown for price may depend on what your location region settings are? And or what your language settings are?
I have my location set to Canada but my language set to English US. I have no idea if my store prices are in US dollars or Canadian dollars or how to tell?

I am in Canada and my location is set to Canada and the keyboard set to English(US). I too thought that might be the cause but the exchange rate between CDN$ and US$ is much higher than 13%. Maybe in this world Microsoft needs to start spelling out the currency to avoid any confusion.
