    Hi there

at one time there was a way to make Powershell the default cmd processor -- I can't find it any more. Any links.

Not sure what's going on with that but, I know you can't add PowerShell to the WinX menu any longer.

    Hi there

The strange thing is that when I did an UPDATE (from 10042 direct to 10074 missing out 10061 the powershell is still my default and it also appears in the WINX list.

A Clean install reverted back to the standard cmd prompt. There must be some registry thing somewhere I'd imagine.

I'll see what's different in the two systems.

    Cheers

When you check the highlighted option in Taskbar Properties it renders the WinX Menu void of any cmd options!?

It's due to missing short-cuts - add them to this folder and you can then toggle between the two...

    Hi there

Thanks --worked a treat +1 for you --I've now marked as solved. The screen even has the BLUE background with the proper size font as before. !!!

From the standard start menu simply open file location and copy the short cuts and paste them into the group3 location folder --copy BOTH entries as you will want both Admin mode and standard (user mode).

    Cheers

    You're both welcome....
