can I stick with build 14393?

    Yes, it's clear now that the two are the same.

    Note: I was in the Fast Ring and after updating to 14939.10 I no longer have an option to receive insider builds in Updates/Advanced Options. I wonder if others are noticing that?

    You have the option now on the same main page of Updates & Security as a separate menu right at the bottom : Windows Insider Program.


    It's been like this for a while. Can't quite remember when that changed but I think it was starting with version 14352. The first one without watermark IIRC.


    Furthermore and also changed around the same time when you do a clean install on an UEFI system the GPT reserved partition that used to be the first one on the disk is now moved to sit at position 3 and is reduced to 16 Mb.
