I loved my explorer settings in high contrast. But with 10074 they mucked it up - you cannot set any colors any more. Fortunately I saved a couple from the previous builds.
What happens when you try? Can you post a screenshot maybe?

That does not seem to work for high contrast themes. I could not chose any colors. It does just nothing.
Didn't work for me either, Wolfgang. And mine's regular.

Control Panel>Personalization>choose a High Contrast theme>then Type 'color' in the Search feild>choose 'Change the color of your taskbar and windows borders' in the Personalization section and you should get the color options.

You are all talking about something different. Here is what I try to do. And besides being extremely inconvenient compared to 8.1, it does not work.

Yeah, the modern settings seem to be limited in a lot of places!

While you're on that one window, type 'color' in the search feild:

    then choose this result specifically:

then you'll be brought back to here:

Here's one thing, for the people whom windows update kills their drivers, I found in 10074:

Edwin, thanks, that looks good. I will try that. But what an inconvenient way to get back to something that you can get with 1 click in 8.1. W10 really sucks. I am getting more and more disenchanted.

Update - that worked. But again, I had to make detours to save the new theme. What a mess.
