Can I stop insider builds after getting anniversary update??

Hi,My Sony VAIO(SVF15213SNB) currently on Win10 Home Single language version 1607 build 14388.I Just want to discontinue getting insider builds after anniversary update that comes this August 2nd .Is there a possibility to do this without losing anything from my pc ,something by doing an inplace upgrade of the rs_1 after getting that buid.If it's possible, what is the final build and version number??

I just want to get regular official builds instead of insider builds,Since too many builds and updates is using too much data which my data plan is incapable of.What should I do to get back to regular official builds after rs_1 without a risk of losing my documents, music and video .Is it okay to just stop insider builds after getting rs_1 without any further problems ?Please help me.

The way I read it, if my computer is running Win10 Insider Preview the computer will need to be changed back to the qualifying version of Win7 w/SP1 or Win8.1 so as to be Upgraded to the Free Win10 before July29. It's been written that the next release will be Aug. 2 or thereabouts. But then the computer I have with the Insider Preview [Technical Preview] was done some time ago with a clean HDD, no other version of Windows installed. The computer has a minor issue with the bulged capacitor problem [4 of them not leaking yet] and will just be taken out of service.

If it's currently activated with a digital entitlement, you shouldn't have to do that. Go to Settings > Update & security > Activation and see what it says. The digital entitlement is good for the Consumer release and the Insider builds.

My lappy came with pre installed win 8 OS that is activated through Digital Entitlement .Now in my insider preview,it's showing that my windows is activated with adigital license linked with my microsoft account.I assume that they are one and the same.Don't know whether the signatures are turned on or off.Is it ok if I turn this insider builds right now(build14388)?Are you sure that I won't be facing further issues in the windows activation or updating if I stop them right now??

Windows 8 doesn't use a Digital Entitlement. That PC's Windows 8 install would have been activated with the OEM key that's embedded in the BIOS. You get the Digital Entitlement when you do the free upgrade to Windows 10. Reading your post again though, I think that's what you are saying. On my PC with the Consumer Edition it just say "Activated with a Digital Entitlement". On my other PC running the latest Insider build it now says "Activated with a Digital Entitlement linked to your Microsoft Account". They changed it a bit but its essentially the same thing. Linking it to your Microsoft Account, from what I have read, will make license transfer to a new device easier.

If it was me, I'd wait until the Anniversary update gets released. My thinking is turning off getting Insider builds when the Insider and Consumer builds have the exact same build number, is the safest bet. Switching to Slow ring will slow down updates which seem to be fast and furious lately. In the past, Insider builds would time out and warn you that activation will fail. I'm not sure it that still holds true though. I only just recently started running an Insider builds again and I'm playing catch up on all the ins and outs. If you turn off (stop) Insider builds, and then eventually do get the Activation warning message, turning them back on and updating to the current build should fix it. This might have all changed with this new Stop permanently option, I'll have to go read up on it, to say more.

Where does the "Need to stop getting insider builds completely?" link in the screen shot take you? I don't have easy access to mine at the moment or I'd look for myself.

No. We don't know what the final RTM build will be.
