    Display Is Out

I'm assuming I got an update overnight for Windows 10 Insider, because today everything went to hell.

I have an HP 620 laptop, but the screen is broken. So I have an Acer external monitor attached to it, never had a problem before. At a certain point in boot, the external monitor will kick on and I'm good.

Today, nothing. The laptop is just sitting there. I know it's alive because I'm the bottom right corner, I still see my mouse, but it's currently on a black background, I don't see a toolbar at the bottom. Leading me to believe I'm not at the desktop, but rather some type of setup for whatever update I received.

Does anyone know of anything I could do to rectify this? If I didn't explain correctly, or if you need more info, don't hesitate to let me know.

    64bit Win 10 Pro ver 1903 Build 18362.267 and W10 Insider Build 18362.10005 and 18950

Do you still have this problem or have a few restarts sorted it out?

I'm wondering if Windows 10 has the capability to extend the display to a 2nd pc? I have another Win10 PC on my desk and when it is idle, it would be nice to use its display for content on my main PC. Thanks
