What I've posted in Windows Feedback on this build thus far:

Project Spartan: Full screen videos still do not open in full screen. (same as in 10049)

Windows Feedback crashes while reading through post; unknown reason!

Project Spartan opens a blank page & a page with the video requested after clicking on a video link from the notification area of YouTube.

Project Spartan stopped scrolling webpages out of blue, had to close & reopen.

Startup of system forces CCleaner security notification each time, as if reinstalling it.

"This PC" will not launch from the start menu.

Project Spartan will not allow highlighting of addresses in the address bar.

Project Spartan will not allow editing of favorites titles; this is a must for the favorites bar. (same as in 10049)
Several of these are on the Known issues list when 10061 was released.
Windows 10 Technical Preview Build 10061 now available

    * Desktop apps won't launch from start menu
    * In Project Spartan, no selection highlight appears when selecting text in the address box.

Strange - I can highlight the address bar just by clicking on it - and can copy ,cut etc

Have you submitted input to the feedback and what do you qualify as fresh?? And what bugs are you encountering??

I don't have all day to go through this. One example. The software I download will only open up as the Administrator. It should open up with just one click but nothing.

I tried to get rid of Windows.old. But no deal. Tried:

    • CCleaner with "Old Windows Installation' checked
    • Disk Cleanup with "Cleanup system files' checked
    • Elevated command prompt

    What's next ?

How are you running Win10 then? Regardless of the answer, a clean install of Win10 will fix a good deal of the issues members are seeing with an update to 10061.

Or you can create a new install just for the clean install. Your choice ... bugs from the update process, overwrite your existing test bed, or create a new test bed with a clean install from an ESD-to-ISO file (10041 ISO downloaded and install, then updated to 100049, then grab the ESD for 10061 - a bit much).

Take ownership of the folder (propagate ownership down to files and sub-folders) and try the same set again
    OR
Linux will get rid of it

Did you check inside the Windows.old folder if there is anything inside? I cleaned up mine too. The folder did not go away but the contents are gone. I don't mind the folder as long as I've recovered the storage space. :)

I second the Linux option. It will get rid of it.
