You don't have to do that. I still get prompted to install 10061 and I am activated and get all of the other downloads. From what I read today the TP program ends this month so A new build is due out soon.
So, Gary, are you saying you were able to install 10061? And you don't work for Microsoft?

Where did you read that the TP program will end this month? Link please?

I was chatting with a Microsoft team member today (Not Windows) and she says she just lets Windows 10 do what it wants to and doesn't pay much attention to it. Not moi, buddy!

hello, I just saw this thread and wanted to comment to ask,
if the 10061 esd is downloaded through windows update, and it's found then instead of TRYING to install w/ windows update, how about converting it to an iso with standard wim ? will that work cause MY settings just keeps loading and never shows updates

I don't think anyone has been able to actually install 10061 . . . It's only shown itself on "leaked 10056" machines and won't install if it's not a "Microsoft" machine. It looks for a code and if it doesn't see it, it backs out of the installation.

    That's what I've read so far . . .

Don't know about that, albeit I have been able to install it on my NextBook 2 i 1 without any problems (been running it now for a week).

Really??? Build 10061 is installed on your Nextbook??? I'm really surprised because it's supposed to be internal only!

    OK, then, I stand corrected.
