Is it possible to run DISM to repair the image of a Fast Ring preview?

    Build 14316.1000

When I try to run DISM to attempt to repair the Windows image of the above Preview Build, I receive mainly an Error: 1726, the remote procedure call failed.

Here is some output from commands run:

I suppose the real question here is, as the ISO for the fast ring preview is no actually available, could an ISO from a previous build do the job? If not, how can you repair these images?

Hmm, have even pointed to the "install.esd" in the "C:\$WINDOWS.~BT\Sources" folder, but still have the same issue.

    Code:

OK, I tried moving the "Install.esd" to another location, but noted something odd in the CBS log I see:

    Code:

In the first line in the snip-it above, it looks as though we try to run the following command "C:\WINDOWS\system32\esd". This file, for what ever reason, does not exist in this location on my system.

Ok, as a last bash, I though I would attempt to convert the "install.esd" to an "install.wim". Unfortunately, they end result was the same:

    Code:
    PS C:\WINDOWS\system32> Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth /Source:wim:C:\Tools\ESDtoISO\install.wim:1

Deployment Image Servicing and Management tool
    Version: 10.0.14316.1000

    Image Version: 10.0.14316.1000

    [===========================96.1%=======================   ]
    Error: 1726

    The remote procedure call failed.

The DISM log file can be found at C:\WINDOWS\Logs\DISM\dism.log
Looking at the CBS log, again the errors are slightly different, but ultimately the same (below is a snippit of the last few lines):

Whoops, sorry Kyhi, just missed your post, not intentionally disregarded. Will take a look now.

FYI, as per the first line of the first post - Build is 14316.1000. This is Windows 10 (obviously), 64 bit Pro.

The ESD used above and the ISO built from the ESD was for this build, although I have tried others with the same results.

From the CBS'log file, looks as though the package "
Microsoft-Windows-ContactSupport-Package~31bf3856ad364e35~amd64~~10.0.14316.1000.mum", cannot be extracted, although I can see it in the install.wim file.

Well, build 14328 has been release and installed, and I ran the same as above to produce a new "Dism Detailstxt" file. Still looks to have the same warnings, but I'm not sure if that means anything. Have tried to run the /restorehealth switch as yet.

    Dism Details -2.txt
