Build 10041 - Much better with CLEAN install via ISO

    Hi there

I've got better luck (Much better) using a CLEAN install -- Make the ISO as per Kari's tutorial then burn to bootable USB via Rufus (V2.0) and install.

Note the ESD file is in a different directory see the threads in the tutorial -- copy the whole kybosh to a folder on an external HDD and create the iso. It takes around 35 - 40 mins (I did mine on a VM) depending on what hardware you have.

I still don't like the menu but at least when you INSTALL applications it doesn't hose up as you can create start menu entries for your applications at install time.

I was using build 9926 as the OS I was starting from to create the ISO. Installing now to a spare Physical machine. - That's why I needed the USB as this machine doesn't have any DVD hardware.

    Cheers
    jimbo.

    What tutorial?

I always and ONLY do clean installs, so of course, I need the ISO.

I still have the ISO's for both the 32 bit version and the 64 bit version of W-10-TP-9926.

Since I test both versions on separate PC's, I need both ISO's.
