    Broken url linking

    build 14316 r1 160402-2217 64bit

External programs with URL links no longer trigger the browser - any browser.

Also window focus sometimes goes awry with active windows hidden behind others.

Could you be more specific about URL link. In what occasion, in which program?

Mostly in Thunderbird email client. If I click a link in an email, normally my default browser will open. Now it does not. But any url link in any program can also fail. However, it isn't 100% consistent. sometimes it does work. I've tried to work out any significant detail about this. It seems like links containing data about referrers etc possibly? here is one that doesn't work hxxp://mandrillapp.com/track/click/30066237/www.viewbug.com?p=eyJzIjoib1RBN09YOWlUOTZGaXZRNTNLcWxFYkhuZlUwIiwidiI6MSwicCI6IntcInVcIjozMDA2NjIzNy xcInZcIjoxLFwidXJsXCI6XCJodHRwOlxcXC9cXFwvd3d3LnZpZXdidWcuY29tXFxcL2NvbnRlc3RzXFxcL3Zpc3VhbC1wb2V0cn ktcGhvdG8tY29udGVzdFwiLFwiaWRcIjpcImNhODM2ZDhjYTc4YTQyNWFiZGI1YmFiNmRiMWNlZTYzXCIsXCJ1cmxfaWRzXCI6W1 wiOGJmYjVhNDQ2MTAzYTc4Y2RhZGE4YmRmMzQxYzRhNDlmNWM1Mjc0ZFwiXX0ifQ

There was quite a bit of talk about this problem in Build announcement thread. Nobody seems to know much at the moment, sorry.

The rest of us can open the links, but after confirming the browser..

Thanks. I'd searched various forums but not found any info so now I know it isn't just me!

No, you are not alone. And not much info on the net, since it started in last build- and not even in the beginning.
