    How long to get 14316?

I'm logged in via a MS id and switched to fast ring about 20 hours ago. My system is a surface pro 3 running v1511 (OS Build 10586.164). Is this an abnormally long wait?

One thing that some folks find kickstarts things, is to upgrade to 14295 using the Iso release:

Not sure, because it's a surface, but could he not choose to use disk cleanup and take the advanced option to remove previous installs of windows? This should "wipe" it of those, and then wait about an hour for the new build to pop up as an update.

I had to quit an install of the latest build on a laptop, and when home it would not come back, so I opted to do the above, and within an hour of checking updates (Plus any defender updates it had) it came back and I then installed.

It was the third or fourth day after joining fast ring Insider when it finally came through on my NextBook Tablet. 32-Bit Home version.
