so i just updated to 14291 last last night and it have no problem at all, then after shutting it down and open it in the morning the app tiles were gone on start button, its like back to windows 7 again, i cant expand it or drag the icons on it,, and im thinking of going back to earlier build, but will i able to back to 14291 again immediately or do i have to download it allover again?
If you go back to previous build and keep it at Fast ring, yes, you can have 14291 again BUT you will have to go through the same downloading and installing process.
Why don't you wait a bit and see if someone can help you with your problem so that you won't have to go back to previous build ?
System file check does not work in build 14291, my suggestion is to run an image health restore...................
Right click at Start button > click Command Prompt (Admin) > at the flashing prompt, copy/paste this.......
dism /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth
> press Enter.
It will take some time to run.
When finished, it will give you a report.
Please post back the result.
it doesnt fix my problem, so i figured it out earlier by dragging the apps there and it works, after that turn off my computer and turn on again it goes back and keep removing the app tiles, im thinking that i should leave insider and just become a regular user, how can i do that? do i keep all my files?
