i have win10 preview running on 3 computer [a 9 year old dell laptop, a 5 yr old acer one ,and a 8yr old HP Compq desktop]have not tweaked it in any way ,I just install the programs I need on all 3 ,some different program on each one , all 3 are fresh installs of latest preview ,my main computer is win8.1.1 with all the programs I own or use install on it ,, I think you are using win10 preview for the wrong reason ,,,its for testing/previewing purposes only .not a day to day user ,not yet anyway ,good luck ,enjoy win10
How does it perform on your 9 year old dell pc?

the 9 year old dell is a laptop inspiron 6400,.with a centrino duo cpu 1.83ghz, 2gig ram I don't use it a lot but it runs just fine surfing the net ,don't do much else with it, its just using generic windows drivers for most device ,like video ,its missing a couple of drivers in device manager

Actually it's broken in Windows 10 TP. Microsoft will probably fix it in the next preview build, at least I hope !

    :)
I can run sfc on my desktop PC and it finds issues but can't repair them. If I run sfc on my laptop which is running the same build but with different hardware, it doesn't find any issues. I have yet to try running DISM with the 10130 disk in the DVD drive.
