I can't remember one movie that was better than the book it was made from..
Justified was better than Riding the Rap.
I loved Raylan (sorry) and especially the dopey Dale Junior in the show. Neither so much in the book.
A TV series not a movie admittedly, but it was great I thought. Makes me want to go to the south.

Someday these will be the good old days. Outhouses, pitcher pumps, heating with coal or wood, cooking with a kerosene stove. only three channels on tv, duck and cover(if anyone remembers that one) no internet or even a computer. Yeah, those were the good old days. :)

I lived under those conditions for many years (no TV though) and we were not unhappy. Only in winter the loo was a bit cold. And the sloped roof over my bed had icicles in winter. Only the kitchen was heated. Food was sparse (in Germany 1945 to 47) but fortunately we had a big garden, That helped and also the rabbits and chicken. You had to be innovative.
