When will the next Insider Build be released?

First of all, let me say that I have no inside info on this topic.

Now that Microsoft seems to be on a fast release cycle for Insider builds, I would expect that we should see a new build soon. Maybe this week?!

I base this hope on the fact that build 11102 was released on 1/22/16. Four days later build 14251 was released on 1/27/16, The most recent build, 14257, was released on 2/3/16. Based on this timetable, it's possible that another build may be released to the fast ring this week.

Hello there sassafras Welcome to the Ten Forums!

On that question you seem to have already answered the question on another thread Post #30 I believe. Microsoft lays more foundations for Redstone Windows 10 Build 14257 - Page 4 - Windows 10 Forums

Those actively involved in the Windows Insider Preview program will now be seeing an app available for a fast preview option for an advanced first look at the next build that would follow the present one available. Other then that the Blog.Windows 10 page would be what to watch to catch the next build's announcement which also ends up being quoted in the news section here at Ten Forums by the way! :)

I hope this wish of mine comes true!:)
Could happen.. they did say that the builds would be coming much faster from now on.. but with more bugs.

The thing to remember is that the only date set would be the launch date. Other then that it's whenever a build is finally far enough along it can be made available for testing, feedback, widespread evalution, etc.

Rushing builds out however would be just that going backwards into "Buggyness" rather then moving forward when all of sudden the OS starts seeing real problems! Coding errors and everything starts creeping in. But in order to refine 10 much further then seen with any previous version as the bloggers claim is the MS intentions for 10 you can expect that Insider builds won't be stopping anytime soon. The six months later for Threshold 3 scenario would seem to be on a timely schedule however since allows time to gather the feedback as well as see things corrected.

That's what the insiders want.. faster build drops and that's what we're going to get.

Thanks, Night Hawk, for the info. I am sorry if I repeated myself.

The new app for the fast preview option is good news! It seems to me that MS is being more transparent with Insider builds.
That's a good thing in my book.:)

Do you imagine Microsoft will issue a new build just because your are interested, or, do you think people here have some special secret inside idea, or are you just opening a thread for no reason?

    I'm just interested.
